Report Text (MID):Blue whale

Fit

                              *Blue Whale*

The blue whale is not only the biggest whale living today; the blue whale is the biggest creature ever to have lived on Earth. They are mind-bogglingly gigantic; much larger than any of the dinosaurs. Blue whales and the other ocean giants live their whole lives in seawater.

Blue whales commonly reach the colossal length of 29m, that’s roughly as long as three London red double-decker buses parked end to end. Blue whales in the Southern Hemisphere are generally larger than those in the Northern Hemisphere and female blues are larger than males.

The longest blue whale on record is a female measured at a South Georgia whaling station in the South Atlantic (1909); she was 33.58m. The heaviest blue whale was also a female hunted in the Southern Ocean, Antarctica, on 20 March 1947. She tipped the scales at 190 tonnes which is equivalent to about 30 elephants or 2500 people.

Blue whales are now extremely rare due to uncontrolled commercial whaling. Some populations could be endangered to the point of extinction.

                     *One-horned rhinoceros*

The one-horned rhinoceros is one of the animals that can only be found in Indonesia. As the name suggests, the uniqueness of this rhino is its single horn. This four-legged animal is an animal that is protected by the state because it is rare and extinct.

This animal has a long snout and has large nostrils. Right above the muzzle is a sharp curved horn or horn. Meanwhile, the wide ears are on the back of the head and almost on the neck or hump.

His body is big and muscular. Moreover, it is known that the one-horned rhinoceros is the largest animal on the island of Java. Just imagine, it can weigh up to 1.5 tons.

His whole body was covered with thick skin that looked almost like a knight's armor made of metal. The color of his skin is brown, almost like pale ash, like the color of a solid mountain rock.

This large rhino is also supported by its four strong legs. Each leg has three nails. Their thick nails are covered with thick skin to support their tall body.

How extraordinary is this rare prima donna of Indonesia. It's time for all of us to participate in preserving these animals by at least getting to know them. Don't know then don't love right?

 Eid Visiting Grandfather and Grandmother

Orientation:Last year's Eid I went to kabaena to
visiting my grandparents.
I have to go there because before Eid I couldn't be there.

Event: I really miss them both because since I was little I have lived with them.

At that time, my parents had to work in another city so they left me with my grandparents.

After I graduated from high school, I followed my parents who lived in Sinjai, precisely in South Sulawesi. Since then, I only visit my grandparents every holiday.

Too bad, I couldn't go because the weather at that time was not supportive. Strong winds, waves, and very heavy rain.

after a few months I decided to visit my grandparents, I ordered a boat ticket from Bulukumba to the port of sukeli (kabaena) Southeast Sulawesi.

Normally, the trip only takes around 24 to 28 hours but due to a few problems my trip from Sinjai to Kabaena takes around 40 hours. It makes me tired.

Reorientation: Fatigue and anxiety during the trip were relieved when I met my grandparents. They already look old. I am very happy because they are still in good health.
